Appearance

Going hand in hand with Speech, quite possibly the first impression that you have on people will be your appearance. In todays society, it's not difficult to grab attention based on how you present your appearance. Look at how most young men dress these days. A black shirt and sweat pants. A hoodie. Cargo shorts. Graphic t-shirts. Now imagine how differently you would perceive someone that was trying to have a serious conversation with you that's wearing a tropical button up shirt and cargo shorts (one of my favorite outfits) compared to someone that's wearing a suit. Appearance is only half of the first impression, as I mentioned, it goes hand in hand with speech. If a man in a suit comes to you and immediately speaks like he has no idea what he's talking about, versus someone in a tropical shirt and cargo shorts speaking with eloquence, it makes a difference.
